Bitters Workshop with Rowhouse Spirits

Registration required. Just in time for the holidays gift giving season! Learn to make this herbal essential for your bar, or to give as a gift to make your friends and family a little jollier this season. We are excited to have Dean Browne distiller/owner from Rowhouse Spirits coming to the Greensgrow for the first time to teach! Dean is well known at our Saturday markets and all around Philadelphia for his small batch and specialty releases like; Poitin, Rowhouse Gin, Amaris, and Bear Trap herbal liqueur. All made just down the street from the farm!
Our knowledgeable distiller and barman will teach you how to make bitters and discuss Schnapps and alcoholic tinctures that can be sipped as cordials or used in cocktails. You’ll get a lesson on the different types and how they differ in ingredients, taste and technique. Everyone will make a jar of bitters to take home or give as a gift!
Inspired by a roving distiller who would visit French farms to distill their cider into brandy for Calvados, Rowhouse Spirits partners with local wineries, breweries, and farmers to produce unique and seasonal spirits. Find out more about Dean Browne and Rowhouse Spirits here.
