Alicia Hickok, Partner, Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP
Alicia Hickok came to Philadelphia from Southern California by way of the Willamette Valley in Oregon, where she was able to make cider from perry pears and apples from an old orchard, revel in learning how to use her abundant grapes and raspberries and carry on a love-hate relationship with blackberries. It was there that she developed a passion for seed saving and heirloom roses, passions that she tries to nurture on her small suburban plot in Delaware County. She and her family moved from Oregon to Pennsylvania in 1998 so that Alicia could study law at the University of Pennsylvania. Aside from clerking on the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, she has spent her entire legal career at Drinker, litigating and handling appeals. Her three children are now scattered across the globe pursuing their passions. In addition to serving Greensgrow, Alicia is on the boards of Musicopia and Mendelssohn Club and is active in the ABA Litigation Section and Judicial Division, as well as serving as Deputy Counsel to Pennsylvania’s Appellate Court Procedural Rules Committee.

Kuck joined the Greensgrow team in 2006, first as Lead Farmer and then Sustainability Manager, Food Access Programs Manager, Director of Greensgrow West, and Development Director as Greensgrow grew from a staff of 4 to a staff of 40 over the last 10 years.
