BOP11_bannerWelcome to the Nursery at Greensgrow Farms, where you’ll find nearly everything you need to create and maintain a city garden. Our award-winning nursery specializes in plants and supplies for small-space growing, but we offer a lot more, too.

Greensgrow West: This year you can also visit us at our new garden center location at 4912 Baltimore Avenue! Click here for info.

Having trouble planting your containers or choosing plants for your location? We’re here to help. Plus, we offer a variety of gardening workshops in the spring and fall – check the Events Calendar to see what’s on the agenda, or for the very latest Greensgrow news, sign up for our newsletter and like us on Facebook. In the spring you will find everything from seeds, starts, fruit trees and bushes, annuals, perennials, container plantings, natives as well as indoor plants and garden gear. You’ll find a variety of heirloom vegetables, hybrids and classics. Keep your eye out for our lines of veggie starts; Greensgrow Grown and Mary’s Picks– special favorites of our founder and our farmer. To find out exactly what’s available, you can send us an email or give us a call at 215-427-2702.

Come into the warm and sunny greenhouse to pick out your seeds, hanging baskets, frost-tender annuals like begonias, impatiens, South African daisy and sweet potato vine. Our first tropical plants arrive in spring and may include jasmine, gardenia, bougainvillea, citrus, palms and passion flower. Late spring will bring cacti in all sizes. All year round we carry a wide array of fertilizers, containers, tools, beneficial insects, grass seed, soils and composts, and chemical-free deterrents for the pests who dare to wander into your garden. We have a constant supply of houseplants, terrarium supplies and books.
