The Greensgrow Farm in Kensington is just five minutes from Center City Philadelphia. The Farm is accessible by public transportation and there is plenty of ticket-free parking available.
Take the eastbound Market-Frankford Line (to Frankford) to the Spring Garden stop. The bus stop is at the bottom of the stairs on the south side of Spring Garden St. You may take the northbound number 25 bus (Bus will say Frankford Transportation Center or Cedar & Lehigh). The ride is about 10 minutes long – you will get off at Cumberland St. Turn right and walk one block east on Cumberland. You will see the farm ahead on the left side of the street. The main entrance is on Cumberland.
You may also take the eastbound number 43 bus (Bus will say Richmond & Cumberland Sts. – Make sure the bus is one that goes all the way to Cumberland). You will get off just before Cumberland St. in front of the Port Richmond Village shopping center. Cross Aramingo Ave. at Cumberland St. (look for a CVS and a bank at this corner) and walk one block up Cumberland to Almond St.. You will see the farm on your right.
Take the westbound Market-Frankford Line (to 69th Street) to the York-Dauphin stop. (This is a B stop only during rush hour.) The bus stop is at the bottom of the stairs to the station, on Dauphin St. Take the eastbound number 39 bus (Bus will say Richmond St. & Cumberland St.). The ride is about 5 minutes long. As the bus goes along Cumberland St. you will see the farm on your left. You will get off at Almond St. (directly across from the farm). The main entrance is on Cumberland.
Take the Broad Street Line to the Susquehanna-Dauphin stop. Take the eastbound number 39 bus which runs along Dauphin St. (Bus will say Richmond St. & Cumberland St.). After you pass under the El, the ride is about 5 more minutes long. As the bus goes along Cumberland St. you will see the farm on your left. You will get off at Almond St. (directly across from the farm). The main entrance is on Cumberland.
Don't forget that Greensgrow Farms is the site of a Philly Car Share pod. Utilizing this local non-profit is an easy way of transporting all the great Nursery stuff you get at Greensgrow. To become a Philly Car Share member go to their web site www.phillycarshare.org and join for free.

From 95 N Take the Girard Avenue exit # 23. Bear to the left and follow the signs to Aramingo Avenue. Make a left at the 2nd light onto York Street. (Exxon on your left.) Make a right at the first stop sign onto Almond. Entrance is 3 blocks down on your left on Cumberland St.
From 95S Take the Allegheny Avenue Exit. Make a right at the bottom of the ramp. Make a left onto Aramingo Avenue. Make a right onto York Street. (Exxon is ahead on your right.) Make a right at the first stop sign onto Almond St. Entrance is 3 blocks down on your left on Cumberland St.
From Delaware Avenue head North. There will be a Y in the road about 1 mile north of Spring Garden. Bear left and follow the signs to Aramingo Ave. Make a left at the 2nd light onto York Street. (Exxon on your left.) Make a right at the first stop sign onto Almond. Entrance is 3 blocks down on your left on Cumberland St.
