Unlike the big-box stores, we know plants because we grow plants.

The Greensgrow Nursery continues to grow and expand its offerings, workshops and hours of operation. As always our knowledgeable staff is on hand to help you explore these new products, and assist you in transforming your yard, patio, window box, or rooftop into your own beautiful green space. Garden Design Magazine says,”The city’s rep for vanguard culture is growing…Tour the growing houses at Greensgrow and pick up some unusual perennials or hard to find heirlooms.”

Greensgrow is THE nationally recognized leader in urban farming (don't just take our word for it...) and is open to the public from early spring through Christmas. A small but dedicated staff runs a multifaceted operation, including a nursery, a farm market, and a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, proving that abandoned land is only abandoned if we choose to leave it that way.
