Want to get more involved? Here are some ideas....

Interested in Getting Involved?

We are a small operation with limited time and space, and can only work with so many people at once. And we are very fortunate to have many dedicated volunteers who return year after year.

Greensgrow accepts volunteers on a limited basis.  If you are interested in volunteering, you must attend a new volunteer orientation session.  Please click here to search our calendar for the next volunteer orientation session.  Also, you may put your email address on our mailing list (check the "Interested in Volunteering" box) and we'll let you know when we have opportunities available.

As always, we enjoy meeting others who are interested in greening Philadelphia and enjoying local food, so please come visit us at the farm during our Nursery or Farm Stand hours.  If you would like to help out in a way in another way, one important thing you can do for Greensgrow right now is spread the word.  Share our website with five friends who you think would be interested in our work and encourage them to visit.

If you’re thinking, “OK, but I still have time on my hands and want to get them dirty!” you might be interested in volunteering with one of the following organizations – all collaborators with Greensgrow.

Greensgrow is THE nationally recognized leader in urban farming (don't just take our word for it...) and is open to the public from early spring through Christmas. A small but dedicated staff runs a multifaceted operation, including a nursery, a farm market, and a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, proving that abandoned land is only abandoned if we choose to leave it that way.
