Tomato Varieties
Grow your own tomatoes! Tomatoes are a wonderful vegetable that tastes great any way you prepare it!
Determinate - Varieties that grow to a mature size and ripen all their fruit in a short specific period. Pruning and removing suckers from determinate tomatoes is not recommended.
Indeterminate - Sometimes referred to as “vining” tomatoes, these varieties will continue to set and ripen fruit until they are killed off by frost. It is best to provide substantial staking or caging to support these large plants.

In this physalis family, the fruits resemble small green tomatoes covered in papery husks. For salsa verde,
harvest when green and the husks split, or let them turn slightly yellow for a more nutty flavor.
