We have roughly 40 shares remaining (Combo of Full and Half Shares). Please do not hesitate handing in your application. Most spots will be filled this week, so the faster you get it in the better off you will be! Tell your friends, tell your parents, even tell your pets (just no dogs, Blanche is a tad terrified).
In case you are wondering, for the 3rd year in a row we are not increasing the price of the CSA, but we have made some alterations. Please visit greensgrow.org and read the article our beloved and wacky founder, Mary has posted on this particular topic. We will be bringing you the seasons best produce, cheeses, fruits, prepared foods, and much more. We hope this year meets and exceeds your expectations!
Credit cards:
Please supply a credit card number in the indicated area on the application so we have a back-up for you. We will NOT charge your credit card at anytime during the year, unless you decide to go AWOL! If you are paying in full, please DO NOT supply a credit card.
The 2010 CSA
Veggies: 5-7 locally grown vegetables
Fruit: 2 different varieties of fruits
Cheese: EVERYONE will get a cheese
Dairy option: Choose 1 following: A dozen eggs, 2 yogurts, 1/2 pound of butter, Tofu, or Seitan. We will NOT be carrying milk in the CSA this year because 3 months out of 5 we discontinued it in the due to spoiling issues from the heat.
Prepared Foods: Possibly 1 item a week consisting of Greensgrow's dips, breads, pasta, and other prepared dishes.
Our Fridges and Freezers: Every meat, cheese, dairy option, and prepared food WILL BE AVAILABLE to purchase on the farm. Even if it is not in the share on a weekly basis, monthly basis, or ever you can ALWAYS purchase it on the farm. If there is something you don't see, but love and want it desperately, tell us and we will supply it for you.
