Moving - Need someone to take over CSA [by Brittany]

2010 Summer CSA:: Moving - Need someone to take over CSA
I'm moving out of state Aug. 9th and am looking for someone who wants to take over my CSA share. I am a half share (Week A) with pickup on Saturdays. There would be 7 remaining pickups after I leave (see below) and I would only request that they pay my last installment of $145. That's a pretty good deal considering that equates to $20.70/share (when it is normally $33.45/share).

This may be perfect for any friends or neighbors wanting to give the CSA a try.

Please email me if you or anyone you know is interested.

Thanks!

We want to swap our 1st Saturday pick-up for Thursday. Any takers? [by Christopher Curry]

2010 Summer CSA:: We want to swap our 1st Saturday pick-up for Thursday. Any takers?
We're not going to be around the first Saturday (May 29th) of the 2010 Summer CSA and we're hoping to find someone with a Thursday pick-up (May 27th) to swap with us.

If you're willing to swap, just reply to this post with the name listed on your account and I think that should be sufficient. Include your email and I'll cc you on my heads up email to csa@greensgrow.org concerning the swap.

Thanks for reading!

Thanks for the input.

We'll keep the forum open for a bit...see if we get any traction from CSA folks, etc.

If no, we'll shut it down.

Eitherway we'll continue to post updates via FaceBook and Twitter.

Open Topics:: Tonight's Freeze
Not seeing the "Ask the Farmer" area... but asking the farmer anyway.

Last weekend, I ambitiously began cleaning up my container garden. My sage and chives seemed to survived the winter on their own. But I added starter strawberry and rosemary plants.

Can they handle the cold tonight or should they come inside?
