They’ll be teaching you how to make vegan cake, cookies and waffles at home. You’ll get the professional’s tips on best substitutes for eggs, butter and dairy for successful and innovative vegan sweets.
Get to see from beginning to end the techniques to make V Street’s famous Waffles with chocolate ganache, Samoa Girl Scout Cookies and Lemon Cake. The Inquirer’s, Craig LaBan called these waffles, “my favorite dessert of the year”. Everyone will get hands on making cookies. You’ll get lots of samples along the way made by our award-winning team. Plus you’ll get recipes, and a list of vegan substitutes to guide you along at home.
Chef Kate Jacoby is a James Beard Nominated Pastry Chef and owns Vedge and V Street with her husband and fellow chef, Rich Landau. She strives to innovate vegan desserts and bring fresh ideas to rich, quality ingredients.
V Street is a street food bar by Vedge Chefs Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby. The menu is inspired by great ethnic and street foods of the world.
