Subaru Fall Festival at Greensgrow Farms

Join Subaru and Greensgrow Farms for a celebration of local food, music, crafts and farm fun! Whether you are from Philly or from out of town, get off the beaten path and checkout Greensgrow Farms, THE nationally recognized leader in urban farming and quite the little gem. Come see how a former galvanized steel plant became a model for urban agriculture.

Festival visitors will have the chance to sample harvest dishes, enjoy crafts, live music, visit the farmstand and bring the kids to partake in a variety of children’s activities. The event will also include Mi Pueblito Tacos and The Chilly Banana food trucks, local craft vendors, Chili Competition: You Be the Judge! (11:15–1pm) and Apple Pie Contest, (1–3pm) where the public is asked to submit their best recipes to be crowned champions. Other festival activities include:

• Appearance by the Philadelphia Phillies mascot, the Phillie Phanatic: 1–2pmPhillie Phanatic
• Cider pressing (10am–4pm)
• Beebeard (10:30-11:30)
• Live Music from Kensington High School for the Creative and Performing Arts Drumline (11–11:30am) Chalk and the Beige Americans (1:30–2:30pm) and Gringo Motel  (12:30–1:30pm), Matt Santry (2:45-3:30)
• Adopt-a-Pet and pet costume competition brought to you by Subaru and Street Tails Animal Rescue (2:30-3:30pm) Prize ($50 Greensgrow gift card) for the winner!
• Subaru Coat Drive
• Zero Waste Event in partnership with the City of Philadelphia and Subaru

The Subaru Fall Festival at Greensgrow Farms is open to the public and admission is free. The event supports and celebrates Greensgrow’s nonprofit mission to grow a greener and more sustainable Philadelphia. This is the first time since 2013 that the Subaru Fall Festival is returning to Philadelphia. #SubaruFallFest
